It’s funny, how the makings of a ‘perfect day’ can differ so significantly from one person to the next. The day I traveled to see Italy’s Cinque Terre would most have likely been considered a rather crappy one to those who wanted nothing more than to sit at a beach and relax. As a photographer however, the overcast and moody weather was absolutely brilliant. Every now and then a cloud would shift and the sun would peak through, but the overall cloud cover produced some spectacular shots. Colors were deeply saturated, contrast low, and I happily snapped away even through the sudden showers.
Thinking back on my trip now, I’m so very glad the sun chose to hide away. I would say say I feel a little sorry for the beach goers, but…nah :p
From a White Bird perspective, maybe photography prints might be something to try in the future?
